ELEVEN NON-PROFITS RECOMMIT TO THE NEED FOR A REFLECTIVE PEER COMMUNITY: Last week, the Praxis Network re-committed to the simplicity and depth of being a group of organizations committed to cultivating community through reflective retreat as well as regular dialogue and exchange. The group of eleven organizations* brought together by Still Harbor renews this mission based on the belief that such sacred communities of reflection, discernment, and action are able to deepen, nourish, and sustain efforts to transform our unjust world.

Each year, GlobeMed hosts a Global Health Summit that brings together “GlobeMeders” from across the country for an extended weekend filled with intensive lectures and workshops with global health leaders. The goal is to help these students develop a deeper understanding of relevant issues in global health and prepare them with the skills needed to make an impact on the world starting today. This year, Still Harbor was invited to collaborate on a tailored reflective curriculum for peer facilitated small groups.
