CENTER FOR DISCERNMENT & ACTION
Our urban center in South Boston, Massachusetts, provides individuals from diverse walks of life and organizations without dedicated space opportunities to gather, study, reflect, discern, pray, create, experiment, and work all within an open, supportive community environment.

In addition to delivering many of our own programs at the Center, we invite others to consider using the space for retreats or gatherings in line with our mission. The Center has:

  • 9 guest bedrooms (10 beds)
  • 2 full and 3 half bathrooms for community use
  • Conference room (accommodates 10 at the table)
  • Large multipurpose room (accommodates 50)
  • Living room
  • Parlor room
  • Dining room (accommodates 12 seated, many more buffet style)
  • Large kitchen
  • Large outdoor space

USING THE CENTER
The Still Harbor residential community is interested in opening the space up to individuals, organizations, practitioners, and teachers who share our vision to develop greater capacity for individuals and organizations to act in service to others through a commitment to linked discernment and action.

Organizations and Groups
Depending on the size and needs of your group, we have a range of suggested contributions (from $150 to $1,500 a day) to help cover our community costs. On occasion we will consider discounting or eliminating the suggested contributions for organizations and groups seeking co-sponsors or partners for their gatherings.

Facilitation Services
We can provide customized facilitation services to organizations and groups seeking assistance with the development and implementation of their retreat or meeting programs. Costs for these services depend entirely on the nature of the engagement.

Individuals
We have limited opportunities for individuals seeking to join the Still Harbor residential community for short-term self-guided overnight retreats. Please contact us for additional details.
